So I have been thinking, that 99% of you support me and love my work, and it is unfair to punish you all for a problem I have with the 1%. I have therefore decided to go back on my departure from the FTS world, but there is a problem. 

I have deleted all of my files, meaning I have to start again. But do not worry, this means I will give you even better kits, with more accuracy and details. 

To the people who were posting my kits as their own, I apologize to you too. I believe in a world where we are free to share, and that is all you are doing. You all can have my new kits when I release them, to do as you please. 

You are the people who make making the kits worthwhile - all of you. I look forward to rewarding my fans with the best kits I will have made to date, you deserve it.

This whole situation with Callum leaving the community is really disappointing!! I just started using his blog and planned on making a donation because I greatly respect the time and energy of other people. I do respect his decision to leave because it is his prerogative to do so. However, I do not agree with that course of action. 

I have been playing FTS since it was X2 Soccer. Every year since it's inception, it has made rapid yearly improvements. This is true especially, since it became the FTS franchise. The community is growing rapidly as well. Callum and a few others have definitely contributed to that success. 

What everyone should realize here is that we don't own our talents and gifts. They are given to us to share and impact the lives of others. Again, Callum and others have definitely done that. Even though this just a video game, the point is very relevant. If I were in his position, I would not deprive thousands of people of joy and fulfilment because of a couple of morons. For all we know, they could have sent from another company to enter the community and sabotage the success of FTS. 

What should also be realized here is that those talents are not unique to only Callum. As this franchise and it's community continues to grow, eventually someone will pick up the torch. At that point all newcomers who never knew of Callum and his early contributions will never know because he has chosen to keep his talents to himself. At that point, he will become irrelevant. I say all this with much respect. I greatly appreciate all of his contributions. I have logged many hours playing this game the last couple years because of it, but life moves on. Hopefully someday he will reconsider.

I can see why everyone is leaving. I have without sort of saying anything. But I still managed to post a few kits out from time to time. But you guys may not realise it but there is a good amount of pressure placed on you to make these kits, especially when you lot ask for at least 3 kits per day. 

I've tried this business before, and it's hard. You feel as if you can't do anything else but make kits. Callum alone has almost made the entire Premier Leauge, Bundesliga and La Liga. And wasn't far off finishing the others. People like myself, Doni, Alex Jung and a few others filled in the spaces of teams which Callum had not done. 

Yes, I did not do as much as Callum, Alex Jung or Doni. But from the short time where I did, it seemed difficult to live up to your expectations. I myself have been victim to the reusing of my kits. And no credit was given to me whatsoever. You do feel as if the last day you spent making that kit was a waste of time. Us kit makers have to just take that on the chin. And it seems that Callum and Alex Jung have hit the breaking point. 

If you want people like them to come back. You need to be more flexible with them. Know that they have a life outside of making kits. Know that they cannot do every request immediately. Know that they spend hours upon hours of their own free time making these kits. 

I will not stop making kits. But I will stop taking requests. I will make the kits I feel need to be made, and when they will be made. It's easier for me to cope that way. 

And to the people who reposted our kits. You have no one else to blame.

Wow, what a response haha! It's flattering that you guys enjoy my creations so much, though I am only one mere man - and can only do so many pieces in any one given time duration. I am aiming to get all of the clubs and countries done eventually, though my main current focuses are finishing the Barclays Premier League clubs, and then doing the top 4 clubs from Europe. I will try my best to do the requests, but I do this as a hobby, meaning I do not put it as my main priority. :)

Hi all - just a quick update, 

There've been 2 reasons for me not putting any more kits in recently, and these are: 
1) I'm waiting on any FTS 15 news, because if the kit template is different to the FTS 14 template, all of the work here would be for nothing. 

2) Yes, I was a little frustrated about not being credited for my work. Like the others in this thread, I do spend time making kits for both myself and other people. I had an Imgur database of all of my kits free for all to access - I don't mind when other users link or copy my kits from there to here, just remember to say whose kits they belong to when you post (because a little acknowledgement goes a long way!) 

As for me deleting my Imgur files, I am in the process of redoing most of my existing kits, and seeing as I'm constantly tweaking them all, so by the time you use a kit you find on there, chances are I have a cleaner/more accurate version of it. 

I will return to posting again soon, but in the mean time, try not to kill each other! ;)
